Peridot & Diamond Necklace

Peridot and Diamond Necklace. High carat Rose Gold backed, Silver set.  The central section is fully articulated and of pierced out foliate design.  Set with Peridots and Old Cut Diamonds.  Diamonds Silver set within a mixture of claw and millegrain settings.  Set to the centre a large Peridot complimented by three free swinging tear shaped Peridot drops.       

The Diamond section is suspended from a Platinum belcher link chain.

To the reverse the Peridots and Diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows light to shine through for sparkle.

The centre Necklace section measures approximately 55mm width by a drop of 40mm from top of necklace to base of drop. The Necklace measures 41cm in length and fastens to a bolt ring fastener.   

Necklace is supplied with a fitted box.  (The Necklace is dated 1900, although the box would have been made by Garrards at a later date.) Lower cushion cream velvet. Upper lid lined with cream silk states "BY APPOINTMENT TO H.M. THE QUEEN, GOLDSMITHS & CROWN JEWELLERS GARRARD & Co Ltd, REGENT STREET ".  Burguny leather case with Gold decoration to outer edge.
